I've been a lot of places in my short 18 years of life and I'm sure I'll go to a lot more. The one thing that has always been universal is how beautiful wild life can be.
My family and I took a trip to yellow stone national park a few years ago and I can honestly say this was one of my first experiences with legitimate wild life. I saw countless different species of birds and even some buffalo.
When we stumbled across this deer, I was awestruck. I had never seen something so majestic and serene up close.
My family and I just sat there in silence while we watched the animal nibble on grass. I've seen a lot of beautiful architecture in my time but nothing will ever beat the experience of wild life.

She & Him
She & Him at the 2010 Twilight Series Concert
I've traveled far and wide but the most fun I think I've had is here in Utah. I live in Ogden so technically going to Salt Lake is traveling.
Every summer Salt Lake host's a free outdoor concert on Thursdays for a few weeks. This music festival is called the, Twilight Concert Series and has nothing to do with that shitty book.
I've gone for about three years and I enjoy myself thoroughly every time. The most memorable time I think I've had is at She & Him. This is the concert where I met my boyfriend.
We are both avid listeners of the band, but I think it was fate. He looked at me and I knew I was his. It goes to show you magical things can happen right in your own backyard. You don't need to go somewhere unique to have a fairytale come true.

An Unlikely Treat

| Fried bugs in China |
The first place we stopped was a silk factory. They showed us the silk worms and the traditional way of creating silk fabric.
Our second stop was a huge night market in Beijing. This is where I tired snake, scorpion, and larva for the first time. And might I say they were mighty delicious.
China is a unique place with unique foods and experiences. I'm glad I've gotten the chance to broaden my horizons.
